Life Insurance
So the people who depend on you are not left figuring it out alone.
This is the conversation most people put off, and the one our clients thank us for later. It does not have to be complicated or expensive. For many families the right answer is a modest policy that covers the funeral, the mortgage and a year of breathing room.
What we offer
- Term life
- The most coverage for the least money, for a fixed number of years. Usually the right starting point.
- Whole life
- Permanent coverage that builds cash value and does not expire.
- Final expense
- A smaller policy sized to cover a funeral and burial so family is not fundraising.
- Mortgage protection
- Sized to pay off the house so the family can stay in it.
- Fixed annuities
- A way to turn savings into predictable retirement income.
Common reasons people call us
- A new baby, a marriage, or a new mortgage
- Parents who want to spare their children the cost of a funeral
- Someone who was declined elsewhere for a health reason
- A business owner who needs to cover a partner or a key employee
- Anyone who has a policy through work and is not sure it is enough
North Carolina raised its minimums in 2025
Every policy issued or renewed after July 1, 2025 has to carry at least 50/100/50 in liability, with uninsured and underinsured motorist coverage matching. If your premium jumped at renewal, this is usually why.
What North Carolina requiresWe shop these carriers for you
We are an independent agency. We are not tied to one company, so we compare and bring you the best fit.
Carrier names and logos are the property of their respective owners. Availability varies by state and by risk.
Common questions
How much life insurance do I need?
A common starting point is ten times your annual income, adjusted for your mortgage, your debts and how many years your children still depend on you. We will work through your actual numbers instead of guessing.
Do I have to take a medical exam?
Not always. Many carriers now offer simplified-issue and no-exam policies, especially at lower face amounts. Final expense coverage rarely requires an exam.
Is the policy from my job enough?
Usually not, and it disappears when the job does. Group coverage is a good supplement to a personal policy but a risky thing to rely on by itself.
Can I get coverage if I have a health condition?
Often yes. Carriers price conditions very differently from each other, which is exactly where an independent agency helps — we shop the ones most forgiving of your situation.
What our clients say
4.9 · 301+ Google reviews
“This place is fantastic. They found me a much better rate than what I was paying and actually took the time to explain what each part of the policy meant.”
“I needed a certificate of insurance the same morning to start a job and they had it to me within the hour. They have handled my taxes for three years now too.”
“My rate went up at renewal and nobody at my old company could tell me why. These folks shopped it and put me with a different carrier for less than I was paying before.”
